It's one of those weeks...
Actually, it's one of those seasons. I still find it amazing, after years of being a Christian, that when you ask...in earnest, that God totally responds...
I've got a hectic next 4 months...between this project at work (which is basically starting my own business), new role in Church, and training at the gym...I'm not sure when I'll get a lot "me" time. I think that's actually going to have to happen at the gym--no more gym buddies, just me, and God.
So, back to God...in the last 4 weeks I've had constant reminders of Jesus and how important my relationship with Him is. It's easy to get sidetracked and think you can do this all by yourself, but you totally can't. It's in Him that your strength is derived, it's in Him that you can do all things, it's Him that it's all for.
I've gotten some great teachings and reminders. I'll post them later, but they include a couple of podcasts by Judah Smith, Ray Mac and a few others.
until then...must go back to work.

Perhaps I'm a bit thick, but when I'm in the midst of those crazy times it takes me a while to see the awesome ways God is responding (self-absorbed human nature?) but when I finally realize it, it's like the best hug ever!!
Oh, hindsight is our best friend isn't it? I look back and can see. I think that's why Paul told us to be thankful in all circumstances...because really, we know that God is going to bring all things together for good anyway...
